What is the cause of insufficient braking force of disc brake
Time:2021-04-13   View:463

Insufficient braking force issue

When the braking force of the disc brake is insufficient, the following methods can be used to solve the problem:

1. Change the brake pad material

A slightly softer brake pad material can be used to improve the friction coefficient and increase the braking force.

2. Remove foreign objects from the debris removal groove of the brake pad

If the debris discharge groove of the brake pad is covered by foreign objects, the effect of dust discharge and water scraping will be lost during braking, resulting in a decrease in braking force.

3、 Noise during braking

When braking, if there is a "squeaking, squeaking" noise, the following methods can be used to eliminate it:

1. Add an anti noise pad between the brake caliper piston and the brake lining to create a tilt on the piston. This ensures flexible contact between the brake pads and brake discs during braking, ensuring that there is no abnormal noise in the brake pads under normal wear and tear conditions.

2. Choose a brake pad material that is softer and less dense.

3. When braking, the brake pads may move to one side and there may be a knocking sound. This is due to the excessive gap between the brake pad and the caliper body, which can be eliminated by electroplating solder. However, it should be noted that the solder should be coated on the side opposite to the direction of travel to prevent failure under the action of braking force.

There are two types of brake linings for disc brakes: one is that the brake band is made of asbestos rubber steel wire mesh, the other is that the brake pad is made of asbestos resin, and the non asbestos brake pad and brake pad are of clip in type and riveted type, which are safe, reliable, easy and fast to replace.

Its characteristics are:

1. High friction coefficient, good mechanical strength, and low heat decay;

2. Free of steel wool and high hardness friction agents, with low hardness and less likely to damage the brake disc;

3. Non asbestos, green and environmentally friendly;

4. Low wear and long service life.

5. Not harmful to human health;

6. Safe and reliable braking performance; No damage to the worn parts;

7. The disc brake is anti-aging, non cracking, non-conductive in grinding, and low in braking noise;
