Maintenance of electric hydraulic brakes

(1) The following items should be checked every 1-3 days: a. Firstly, check whether the lifting height of the thruster push rod (i.e. the HB value in Table 3) meets the specified value. When the HBmin value is reached, it should be adjusted in a timely manner, otherwise the braking will fail. It is strictly prohibited to continue using it below HBmin, and it is strictly prohibited to continue using it below HBmin as it may cause danger! It's easy to create danger! b. Check if the automatic compensation lever is too loose, and if it is loose, tighten it; Also check if the adjustment bolts in Figure 11 are loose. c. Check if the position of the spring marking has changed, and if there is any change, readjust it to the original position. d. Check the wear of the brake pad and replace it when the effective wear thickness (wear material thickness) reaches 3mm. Each replacement should be readjusted and run in. The replacement method is as follows:

Firstly, use a manual device to open the brake, loosen the nut No. 13 (see Figure 1), rotate the lever 8 counterclockwise to increase the gap between the brake shoe and the brake disc, and it is best to smoothly insert the new friction plate. Then, loosen the fixing bolt (see Figure 12) and remove the old friction plate, Install a new friction plate (note: before installing the new friction plate, remove the limit pin from the old friction plate and install it into the new friction plate), tighten the fixing bolts, adjust the compensation stroke, and run in and test run according to the method in Section 3.1. (2) before use. Attention: Before replacement, the brake disc should be fixed to prevent it from rotating. Attention: Before replacement, the brake disc should be fixed to prevent it from rotating. Is the adjustment of the brake shoe follow-up device appropriate. Whether the thruster operates normally. If there is any abnormal phenomenon, stop the thruster immediately for inspection.

Adjustment of electric hydraulic block brakes

1. Adjustment of tile setback

Adjusting the backset of the tile is actually also adjusting the stroke of the thruster. In the brake shown in Figure 1, loosen the jam nut 11 and tighten the brake lever 10 clockwise to increase the compensation stroke of the thruster. Conversely, reduce the compensation stroke of the thruster. Adjust the compensation stroke hc to the specified value. If the compensation stroke of the thruster is adjusted too large, it is necessary to unscrew the compensation set bolt 7 and take out the compensation sleeve. At this time, the shift pin is not hindered by the triangular plate and can rotate freely counterclockwise. At this point, the brake lever can be loosened counterclockwise again, and then restored, and the compensation stroke and automatic compensation device can be readjusted.

2. Equal adjustment of tile setback

The tile setback equalization device generally does not need to be adjusted, but only needs to be adjusted after the initial or reinstallation. The method is to manually or electrically open the brake and observe the distance between the left and right pads. If the setback of the right tile is greater than that of the left tile, loosen the left set nut and turn the adjusting bolt clockwise (or loosen the right set nut and turn the adjusting bolt counterclockwise) to observe the change in the setback of the left and right tiles. If not equal, continue until equal. The equal lever should be roughly horizontal, otherwise it is necessary to move the position of the brake base so that the center line of the brake roughly coincides with the center line of the brake wheel.

The adjustment of braking torque mainly depends on the compression of the spring. The rated (i.e. large) braking torque of the brake is generally adjusted at the factory, and users can choose a suitable torque value within the rated value and 50% rated value range according to actual needs, (The torque indicated on the nameplate, sample, and user manual is the rated value.) The adjustment method is to refer to the rated torque value marked on the brake nameplate, and use a wrench to rotate the spring pull rod clockwise (as shown in Figure 9), so that the indicating line in the lower seat of the spring contacts the corresponding torque value on the spring scale label. Note: [1] The adjustment position of the spring is the rated value, which can be adjusted appropriately according to specific usage. [2] After adjusting the braking torque to the rated value, the compensation stroke of the brake may change. If there is any change, adjust it according to the working stroke adjustment method
