How to maintain the brake hydraulic cylinder

After cleaning the hydraulic cylinder with diesel or kerosene, apply lubricating oil and wrap it in oil paper. Ideally, place it in a wooden box and store it in a dry and corrosion-free environment. Spray diesel oil on the outer and inner surfaces of the hydraulic cylinder, cover the inner layer with a cloth, and paint the outer layer with anti rust oil. Put it in a dry place and clean it with diesel first, then apply a layer of rust prevention inside and outside with butter.

When placing hydraulic cylinders, they need to be placed vertically to prevent bending and deformation of the steel cylinder. When you have the opportunity to go to shops such as those that buy lathe screw rods, you will find that those screw rods are all placed vertically to prevent them from bending and deformation when left there for a long time.
