How to deal with the disc brake noise?
1: Add an anti noise plate between the brake caliper piston and the brake lining to create a tilt on the piston. Then ensure that the brake pads and flexible touch during braking, so that the brake pads do not exhibit abnormal noise under normal wear conditions.
2: When the disc brake is braking, the brake pad moves to one side, which can show the dynamic and static impact. This is because the gap between the brake pad and the caliper body is too large, which can be eliminated by soldering. However, it should be noted that the solder should be coated on the side opposite to the direction of travel to avoid failure under the effect of braking force.
Application range of disc brake:
Suitable for ports, steel cranes, tower cranes, engineering machinery, drilling machinery, hydraulic machinery, hydroelectric power generation, wind power generation, ships, belt conveyors, transmission equipment, and various irregular brake pads.
Asbestos brake pad, non asbestos brake pad, semi metal brake pad, explosion-proof brake pad, steel back bonding pad, Disc brake pad and clutch plate, etc. Suitable for ports, steel cranes, tower cranes, engineering machinery, drilling machinery, hydraulic machinery, and the production of various materials of automotive and power vehicle brake pads. Asbestos-free brake shoes are a new generation of brake friction materials. Traditional asbestos brake materials pose a serious threat to human health and are gradually phased out products. The new asbestos free material not only poses no harm to the human body, but also has superior performance indicators compared to asbestos brake materials. The product is mainly used for brake pads, linings, etc. of various lifting machinery and other brakes.
There are two types of brake pads: one is made of asbestos rubber steel wire mesh material for the brake band, and the other is made of asbestos resin. The non asbestos brake pad and brake pad use two types: plug-in and riveted, which are safe and reliable, convenient to replace, and fast. ST, SBD, SH images
Its characteristics are:
1. High friction coefficient, good mechanical strength, and low heat decay;
2. Free of steel wool and high hardness friction agents, with low hardness and less likely to damage the brake disc;
3. Non asbestos, green and environmentally friendly;
4. Low wear and long service life.
5. Not harmful to human health;
6. Safe and reliable braking performance; No damage to the worn parts;
7. Anti aging, non cracking, non conductive during grinding, and low braking noise;
Select brake pad materials with softer and lower density for the brake.
The wear of the friction plate must be regularly visually inspected, such as checking the friction plate every time the tire pressure is checked, or checking it every 3 months. Regularly check the wear limit of the brake disc and friction plate. When the brake disc and friction plate wear to the specified small thickness, the braking efficiency will decrease and must be replaced immediately. When the friction plate is burnt or contaminated with oil, it must also be replaced immediately. The friction plates must be replaced on a shaft basis and cannot be replaced on a single piece basis. They must also be produced by a designated manufacturer of heavy-duty truck.
1) Inspection of friction plates
Before starting the inspection, it should be confirmed that the service brake, parking brake, and temporary parking brake for passenger cars are not applied, and the vehicle should be secured and the wheels should not move.
Remove the sealing cap and use a ratchet wrench to rotate the adjusting bolt counterclockwise to loosen the friction plate. Remove the friction plate. As shown in Figure 2, measure the distance from the bottom surface of the brake block (including the bottom plate) to the friction surface with a Vernier scale. The small allowable thickness (including the bottom plate) is 11mm. It is required to select 4 points with uniform circumferential distribution for measurement, and avoid areas with severe burrs and wear.
Check whether the friction plate is evenly worn. Use a Vernier scale to select 8 points that are evenly distributed in the circumferential direction (avoid the severely worn part) for measurement. The maximum allowable unevenness is 1mm. If the wear is uneven, check whether the sliding function of the brake caliper on the sliding pin is normal, whether there is dust between the friction plate bottom plate and the integral push plate, and whether the clearance adjustment function of the self-adjusting mechanism is normal.
Attention: When replacing the friction discs, all friction discs of the two brakes on the same axle must be replaced simultaneously, and the new friction discs to be replaced must be selected from the original accessories specified by Heavy Duty Truck. Due to light braking, the wear of the inner friction plate may be more than that of the outer friction plate. The heating part of the service brake is concentrated on a narrow brake pad, and its unit pressure is greater than that of the drum brake. The brake pad and the piston of the caliper body are in direct contact, so the heat during braking is easily transmitted to the brake fluid. In this way, the disc brake is prone to air lock. However, if corresponding measures are taken, the occurrence of air resistance can also be prevented.
1. Prevent the boiling point of brake fluid from decreasing
Vegetable oil type brake fluid cannot meet the use requirements of disc brake, so synthetic brake fluid with high boiling point must be used. However, synthetic brake fluid has water absorption properties. Under certain usage conditions, the boiling point decreases rapidly. To prevent a significant decrease in the boiling point of brake fluid, the following measures are commonly adopted:
(1) Regularly replace the brake fluid. 3 months or 5000km in summer; After 6 months of winter or 1000 kilometers of driving, the brake fluid will be updated soon.
(2) Brake fluids with different properties cannot be interchanged or mixed.
(3) Store brake fluid tightly. Automobile maintenance network
To increase the temperature of the brake fluid, it is necessary to ensure that the piston can flexibly and automatically return to its original position to avoid slipping or biting of the brake due to rust or jamming. When the brake pads are excessively worn, the heat transmitted to the brake fluid will also rapidly increase. Therefore, worn brake pads should be replaced in a timely manner.
